Our Story

Mija’s Dulce Candles was born from the love, strength, and memories I share with my mama.

The name Mija’s Dulce Candles is inspired by my childhood and the woman who shaped my heart. My mom is the strongest woman I have ever known. She dedicated her life to loving, caring for, and guiding her children as she prepared us for the big world. No matter how long or difficult the day was, she always made sure each of us knew just how deeply we were loved.

As a child, I was a handful. I made mistakes, tested boundaries, and kept her on her toes—but my mama loved me through every season without hesitation. Her love was never conditional. It was patient, steady, and unwavering.

Life has placed obstacles in her path that would have caused many people to give up, but she never did. She faced every challenge with grace, resilience, and an incredible strength that continues to inspire me every day.

She isn’t just a mom. She’s a devoted wife, a constant supporter, and the loudest cheerleader at every soccer game, basketball game, tennis match, and every milestone in between. She’s the first one awake each morning and the last one to lay her head down at night, always making sure everyone else is cared for before herself.

You will never hear her complain about motherhood because, to her, her children and her family have always been her greatest purpose and her biggest joy.

Mija’s Dulce Candles is my way of honoring that kind of love—the kind that fills a home with warmth, comfort, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Every candle is hand-poured with the hope that when you light it, you’re reminded of someone who made you feel safe, loved, and at home.
